Serie A match report Juventus v Torino

Torino struck first in the derby. A corner from Cristian Ansaldi was taken to the near post for Abdoulaye Meite, whose first-time flick into the middle of the penalty area found an unmarked Nicolas N'Koulou.

Simone Zaza almost made it two soon afterwards. Andrea Belotti played the former Juventus striker through on-goal with a lovely defence-splitting pass, but the attempted curler from inside the 18-yard box was parried well by Szczesny at full-stretch.

Juve equalised with just under ten minutes to go. A corner-kick taken short ended up at the foot of Juan Cuadrado, whose perfectly timed cross found Winston McKennie at the far post who headed home from close-range for his first Serie A goal.

Bonucci would save the day for the Bianconeri in the 89th minute. A Juve corner was cleared, but the visitors were allowed to get back on the ball and Cuadrado was again able to tease in a delightful cross. The delivery found the head of the captain, who guided the ball past the goalkeeper with ease.

Carlo Pinsoglio, Juventus' backup goalkeeper was sent off by the referee in the aftermath of Juve's second goal but it did little to sour the sweet taste victory for the unbeaten Bianconeri.
