The Galacticos have been almost untouchable over the past few years, highlighted by their back-to-back UEFA Champions League title successes and Spanish La Liga triumph last term.
And Benzema, who is in the final 12 months of his contract in Madrid, believes some of the best players to ever serve the club are in the current squad, which the Frenchman feels has quality in every area.
“There are six or seven players here who have now been playing together for six or seven years,” Benzema noted on BeIn Sports.
“I think this is one of Real Madrid's best periods ever, it's that simple because the team is really very strong.
“It is not just the first-team regulars we have but also the quality of the substitutes that make the difference.
“A move away? When you’re at a club, especially one like Real Madrid, and are getting regular minutes then you have no reason to look for a move elsewhere.
“It’s a motivating factor to stay on top, starting every season from square one and working your way back to the top is a challenge we must meet.”
