The Old Lady hold a narrow 2-1 advantage over Real Madrid following their first leg semi-final victory in Turin, as they prepare for the reverse fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Juventus last won the Champions League in the 1995/96 season, and were last in the final 12 years ago, yet their star Italian international feels there is a belief in the squad that they can go all the way this year.
"It is such a big game against Real Madrid,” he told The Daily Mail. “We know we are now good enough to be winning European Cups again, the quality and maturity is there.
"The reality is that it is half time and both teams will still feel they can rightly win the game. It is going to take a big performance from us, but there is real belief that we can do it.”
Pirlo last won the Champions League with AC Milan in 2007, a year after lifting the World Cup in Germany at the very same ground where this year’s European Cup final is taking place.
"To win the Champions League with Juventus would be a dream, and to do it in Berlin where I have won the World Cup would be so special,” he said.
"For now that is all I am focused on, I can consider my future in the summer, for now it must be business as usual."
Pirlo then spoke about fellow midfielder Paul Pogba, who has attracted interest from across Europe, yet the veteran feels the French star won’t make a return to former club Manchester United.
"All the interest in Pogba is of no surprise," he said. "When you put in great performances you get attention from the top clubs in Europe, it has always been that way.
"He seems very happy at Juventus, I know he is focused on finishing the season with a lot of success. Whatever the future is for him I don't see it being Manchester United.
"He didn't feel he was treated well there. I know that was under Sir Alex Ferguson, and now there is a new coach, but I do not seeing him returning to a club where he was not treated well."
Pogba, who returned to action on the weekend following an injury lay-off, will look to link up with Pirlo in midfield as they aim to keep the Madrid attack at bay on Wednesday night in the Spanish capital.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45.
