Orlando Pirates centre-back Nkosinathi Sibisi has opened up on the players' relationship with new head coach Jose Riveiro.
The Spanish coach was roped in following a disappointing 21/22 season campaign that saw the Buccaneers finish outside of the top four.
Riveiro was welcomed with an air of skepticism, having not won a major trophy in his professional coaching career, but after eight games played, Pirates find themselves in a good position to mount a title challenge.

While much has been said outside the training ground, very little has been known about how Riveiro interacts with his players inside the club. Sibisi, a new arrival at Mayfair, like Riveiro, has shed some light.
"He's a good coach, he's a very good coach," said Sibisi.
"He wants the best out of us. I think the way we play and the way we showcase ourselves it's how he prefers, so for us, he's a good coach and I think we'll do well under him."
With the unexpected departures of Thulani Hlatshwayo and Happy Jele at Pirates before the start of the season, the 26-year-old defender was thrown into the deep end. But Sibisi has hit the ground running and earned himself two Man of the Match awards since his arrival.
With eight games played Orlando Pirates are now just two points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and boast the joint-best defensive record in the league, alongside Richards Bay and TS Galaxy at just three goals conceded.
