A Paris Saint-German star who has played with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as insisted there is more that "unites them than separates them".
The duo have dominated the sport for almost 15 years, having shared 12 Ballon d'Or awards between them, with the Argentine claiming it seven times while the Portugal international has won the accolade on five occasions.
The titanic rivalry has also been arguably the most debated topic in the history of football, but new PSG playmaker Vitinha believes there is very little contrast between his teammate and his compatriot.
"There are far more things that unite them than things that separate them," he told Portuguese outlet O Jogo.
"They each have their own way of playing and their own characteristics, but the things that unite them are immense.
"The will to always want more, without taking into account what they have already earned, is part of it.
"If I won half of what they won, that would be amazing! The desire to keep scoring goals, making assists, playing great games, helping the team…
"That's what defines them as the best of all time and I'm privileged to have had the time to play with them."

This season, the two players have had contrasting starts for their respective clubs, with Messi registering 14 goal contributions in 11 outings across all competitions for Les Parisiens.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has had a difficult 2022/23 for Manchester United to date, having been reduced to a substitute role in the Premier League of late. The 37-year-old has just one goal to his name so far in eight games.
