OFFICIAL: CT City sign Sundowns defender

Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Lyle Lakay from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Bafana Bafana has returned to the Mother City outfit on a season-long loan.

Lakay comes in just days after fellow Bafana full-back Terrence Mashego completed his move to the Brazilians.

"Cape Town City can confirm that Lyle Lakay has joined on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns until the end of the season," the Citizens tweeted.

"Join us as we welcome back our very own, Lyle Lakay!"

Lakay becomes the fourth player to join the Citizens in the current transfer window, following the acquisitions of Marc van Heerden, Jordan Bender and Wayde Lekay.
