Italy relegate England to League B

Italy 1-0 England

England were relegated to League B with a game remaining in the group after going down 1-0 to Italy at Stadio Guiseppe Meazza.

After a goalless first stanza, Leonardo Bonucci scored the decisive goal for Roberto Mancini's charges that saw the Three Lions relegated.

The win gives the European champions a chance to move on to the semi-finals while Gareth Southgate's side drop to the second league.

Germany 0-1 Hungary

Germany were denied a place in the play-offs after a narrow 1-0 loss against Group A3 leaders Hungary at Red Bull Arena.

Dominik Szoboszlai scored the all important goal for Hungary in the first stanza, as they inched closer to sealing a spot in the play-offs.

The Hungarians and Italy will fight it out for top spot on Monday evening, with the winner advancing to the play-offs.

Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0 Montenegro

Bosnia and Herzegovina were promoted to League A with a match to spare after edging Montenegro 1-0 at Bilino Polje.

Ermedin Demirovic had a goal on 32 minutes for the hosts disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside.

However, Demirovic eventually broke the deadlock for Bosnia on the stroke of half-time and that proved to be the winner.

Finland 1-1 Romania

Finland and Romania deferred their relegation fate to the final match-day after a 1-1 draw in Group B3 at Helsinki Olympic Stadium.

Teemu Pukki gave Finland an early lead but Florian Tanase kept Romania's chances of surviving relegation alive with the equaliser early in the second stanza.
