Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has announced a 23-woman squad to face Australia in preparation for next year's 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Reigning South African champions South Africa are set to continue their preparations for the next year's FIFA World Cup with a friendly encounter against co-hosts Australia in London next month.

Ahead of the encounter, Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis has named a 23-woman squad that notable excludes regulars such as Janine van Wyk – who recently moved to Greece – and goalkeeper Kaylin Swart.
The overseas-based quintet of Refiloe Jane, Linda Motlhalo, Nthabiseng Majiya, Jermain Seoposenwe and AWCON hero Hildah Magaia have, however, all been included.
