Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro insists his charges will not be overawed by the occasion on Saturday and history will count for nothing.
Pirates welcome holders Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals which will certainly be played before a capacity crowd at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
This is Riveiro's first match against Sundowns since taking over the Bucs job at the beginning of the season and finds The Bucs having lost all their last five games against The Brazilians with the most recent a 4-1 whipping in December.

"Obviously, it is a special game for all of us. The players. The fans and for you the media but then we will approach the game like we usually do," says Riveiro.
"We are calm and focused on the things that we need to do to have a good day on Saturday.
"Hopefully it will be in our favour, but we have to play two games against a well-structured team with good players.
"On Saturday we will try and play our game and be ourselves.
"We have an opportunity on Saturday to show what we can do and for sure we are going to take it," he notes while aware of the recent history.
"The past two seasons are not going to play on Saturday, you can be sure about it," maintains the Spaniard.
"It is in the past and gone so we try to look to the future of positives and understand that this is a different story this season and we have a chance to write our new history and that is what we are trying to do in every single game.
"Again, this is not an exception.

"It doesn't matter that you are talking about a semi-final with two legs against Sundowns or whoever is in front.
"We are trying to be ourselves.
"We are trying to build and grow our own identity and what we are trying to do is much more important than only one.
"We cannot isolate one game.
"We are looking for a positive outcome.
"What was the result the last time the two teams faced each other is not going to help.
"The players are hungry for this kind of game.
"We have a chance to write our own history," says Riveiro.
