Chelsea get first win under new manager

Crystal Palace 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea secured their first win under Graham Potter as they left it late to secure a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

Potter's first outing as the Blues boss was in a UEFA Champions League group stage match against RB Salzburg which ended 1-1 as well.

The Eagles made the bright start through Odsonne Edouard's seventh minute opener, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled and Conor Callagher bagged the winner in impressive fashion.

Liverpool 3-3 Brighton Hove Albion

Liverpool failed to bag maximum points in an entertaining 3-3 draw against Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

Brighton had a fast start through a quick double from Leandro Trossard inside the opening 20 minutes to get the reign of Roberto De Zerbi off brightly.

However, the Reds sprung to life and pulled one back through Roberto Firmino before halftime and bagged his brace following the break before an own-goal from Adam Webster put them ahead.

Although, the Seagulls refused to throw in the towel and snatched a point from the brink of defeat when Trossard drilled home to complete his hat-trick.

Southampton 1-2 Everton

Everton secured their second win of the season through a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Southampton right at the St Mary's Stadium.

The Saints made the opener courtesy of Joe Aribo after a goalless first half, but Conor Coady and Dwight McNeil struck within the spell of minutes to hand the Toffees a crucial triumph.

Fulham 1-4 Newcastle United

Newcastle United got their second win of the campaign too following a 4-1 thumping of Fulham, who played the duration of the match with ten players owing to a dismissal.

Nathaniel Chalobah was dismissed earlier on from the side of the host, who trailed thereafter through Callum Wilson, Miguel Almiron as well as Sean Longstaff.

The Magpies made it four after the break when Almiron completed his brace, but the Cottages pulled one back late on through Bobby Reid.

AFC Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford

Brentford were unable to get back to winning ways and played to a goalless draw against AFC Bournemouth on the road.

The Bees suffered a disjointed 3-0 drubbing by Arsenal before the International break, while Bournemouth failed to register consecutive wins after overcoming Nottingham Forest last time out.
