Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is now reportedly open to letting superstar Cristiano Ronaldo leave the club in the January transfer window, but only on one condition.
Ronaldo has had one of his worst-ever starts to a season, having scored just one goal in eight outings across all competitions for the Red Devils.

The experienced striker has seemingly fallen out of favour in Manchester, with manager Erik ten Hag only giving him one start in this latest Premier League campaign to date, which came in a 4-0 loss to Brentford.
The 37-year-old was also an unused substitute in the Manchester derby on Sunday, with the Dutch boss explaining that he did not bring him on "out of respect for his career" given that United were trailing Manchester City 4-0 by half-time.
With Ronaldo having tried to leave the Old Trafford during the previous transfer window, Ten Hag is now willing to let the five-time Ballon d'Or winner depart in January, but only if a suitable offer arrives, according to The Telegraph.
It is reported that the 52-year-old initially wanted to keep the former Real Madrid star at the club, but his mind has since changed, especially as he wants to bolster his squad with further signings at the turn of the year.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, remains eager to get more game time at the club between now and the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and is reportedly hoping a strong showing at the tournament in Qatar will increase his prospects of securing a move to a competitive outfit early next year.
His agent Jorge Mendes worked hard to try to secure him a transfer to a UEFA Champions League club during the off-season, but the opportunity to sign the Portugal star was reportedly rejected by the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain, among others.
