Mamelodi Sundowns' record-signing Marcelo Allende has been backed ahead of Kermit Erasmus to make the biggest impact in the DStv Premiership this season among the league's newest arrivals.
Chile international Allende joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Uruguayan side Montevideo City Torque last month after completing a reported club-record R51 million transfer to Chloorkop.

The 23-year-old has hit the ground running with Masandawana by scoring three times in his opening seven matches across all competitions thus far, and fans have backed him to make the biggest impact this season among all players who were signed during the recent transfer window.
In a recent poll conducted by KickOff, Allende emerged victorious with 30.6% of the overall votes, ending ahead of the new Orlando Pirates trio of Kermit Erasmus, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Nkosinathi Sibisi.
Allende's new Sundowns teammate, Ronwen Williams, rounded out the top five following his arrival from SuperSport United, ahead of Kaizer Chiefs' Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, Ashley Du Preez and Yusuf Maart.
