AmaZulu issue latest on head coach search

AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu revealed the club will soon announce a replacement after the departure of Brandon Truter.

According to Zungu, it is just a matter of days before the new man's name is revealed.

Usuthu announced on Thursday Truter's departure following a barren run of results.

In his five months with the KwaZulu-Natal club, out of 19 matches, Truter has won just seven, drew seven and lost five.

"I can't go into details except to say we will announce a replacement in due course.

"We will announce the replacement very shortly, but for now, the technical team is there to look after the squad.

"Truter was even there with the players on Thursday which ended up being his his last training session.

"Although I won't tell you if he is local or not, our next coach will be announced in a couple of days."

AmaZulu next face a trip to Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership clash on October 14.
