A FIFA World Cup winner has brazenly slammed Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe, accusing the player of "annoying everyone" and saying he needs to "grow up".
After his much-reported fallout with teammate Neymar earlier this season, Mbappe has once again grabbed the spotlight for negative reasons due to his off-field antics over the past few days.

While things appear to be going great on the field, with the France forward having scored 12 times in 13 games across all competitions for PSG so far in this campaign, it has not been smooth sailing off the pitch for the forward.
Last week, it emerged that the 23-year-old was unhappy with the way in which manager Christopher Galtier has utilised him in this campaign, with the attacker reportedly disgruntled about being played through the middle of the forward line instead of his preferred left-wing position.
Things escalated over the weekend when Mbappe posted a cryptic message on Instagram criticising his central role following PSG's 0-0 draw with Stade de Reims, although the post was deleted soon after.
With reports having since suggested that the former Monaco starlet has made it clear he wants to leave the club as soon as possible, 1998 FIFA World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit did not hold back when giving his view of his compatriot's recent behaviour, accusing Mbappe of lacking respect for his club.
"In recent weeks, I find him out of touch in his communication, I find that he is moving more and more from the central subject, which is the game and the pitch. He is making it more and more personal," Petit told RMC Sport.
"Of course, I hear rumours that promises have not been kept, but I want to tell him: 'Kylian, grow up, that's life.'
"It's the same every day. You are made promises that nobody keeps most of the time, does that mean you have to stop working and question everything? Of course not. That's what we call everyday life, the life of grown-ups, the life of adults.
"Kylian, the sooner you sort out your problems with yourself, the sooner your performances on the pitch will improve and your relations with the public and your teammates will be calmer.
"He annoys everyone today. He makes it personal all the time. He even puts himself above the institution. Has everything that has happened in recent months gone to his head? His emoluments which make him the best-paid player in the world? At PSG, they certainly made promises to him by telling him that the project would be built around him…
Kylian, you started in completely different positions at AS Monaco. You were on the right side when you arrived at PSG, then you were on the left. Now you are in the centre. But it's never fixed on the pitch. The players up front spend their time moving around and switching in their respective areas.

"The club is more important than any one player. Today, Mbappe's statements are irrelevant and show a lack of respect for the institution, but also for his partners. Because by saying that, he is targeting his coach but also certain players. I find that regrettable."
