Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has issued his verdict on the performance of striker Kermit Erasmus against AmaZulu.
After making his second debut for Pirates n the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final clash against Sundowns and coming on as a substitute in the loss to Sekhukhune, Erasmus finally got his first start of the season for the Buccaneers during Friday's clash against AmaZulu.

The 32-year-old striker grabbed the chance with both hands as he rescued a point for Pirates just before the stroke of half time, after Sphesihle Maduna put Usuthu ahead earlier in the match.
"His contribution was important for us," Riveiro said after the game.
"First goal after his first game in the starting eleven. I'm sure it's important for the player and important for the group to see him performing."
Although the match ended in a second consecutive draw for the Buccaneers, Erasmus did end Pirates three match run without a goal. Riveiro said he was pleased for the striker.
"He's an experienced player and that's why now he's part of our group. [He's been] helping us from the beginning. Sometimes with quality minutes coming form the bench, today doing his best in the starting the eleven," the Spaniard added.
"I'm happy for the guy, getting his first goal of the season and I'm sure it's not going to be the last one."
Pirates will not have much time to lick their wounds and must turn their attention to Tuesday's clash against Golden Arrows.
Like Pirates, Abafana Bes'thende are without a win in their last two outings.
