South African Rugby national team captain Siya Kolisi is one of Liverpool's biggest fans and he is in fact well-known by the club having exclusively rubbed shoulders with the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Jurgen Klopp. Here's a look at the Springboks skipper's enviable relationship with the English giants.
The story
Earlier this month, lifelong Reds supporter Kolisi was at the club's AXA Training Centre, where he met Spanish maestro Thiago. While the reasons for the visit are unclear, it wasn't the rugby star's first visit to the club having previously been spotted in the Anfield tunnel greeting the likes of Virgil van Dijk, manager Jurgen Klopp, and centre-forward Roberto Firmino, among others.

The Kolisis Will Never Walk Alone.
Kolisi was also present at Wembley Stadium in London when Liverpool won the 2021/12 Carabao Cup earlier this year. The Sharks player also appears to have a good relationship with Red captain Jordan Henderson, who he thanked following his attendance of the aforementioned cup final.
Liverpool legend Ian Rush also comments on Kolisi's Instagram posts from time to time, clearly showing that Boks flanker is also endeared by club and those close to it.
