Zwane praises Dolly heroics after last-ditch goal

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has praised attacker Keagan Dolly's heroics after his stunning last-ditch effort rescued a point for the Soweto giants against TS Galaxy.

The 29-year-old attacker was on target with 10 minutes go to salvage a point for Chiefs against a resilient TS Galaxy.

"A dip in form can happen to the best players in the world, any player can lose form. But also how he [Dolly] recovers, how he does things and he's professionalism. He's one of the players that takes his football very seriously," said Zwane.

At the start of the season, Dolly came under heavy criticism over his form and was also snubbed by Bafana Bafana. However, Zwane insists he had no concerns over the forward.

"Other than him losing his form, there was no other worry about Dolly," added Zwane.

Dolly has since scored a crucial equaliser for Chiefs against AmaZulu in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final, he also scored the winner as Chiefs narrowly beat Swallows 2-1 earlier this month.

Amakhosi will take on AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday in the second leg of the MTN8 semi-final. The winner will face either Sundowns or Pirates at the same venue on 5 November to decide the champions.
