OFFICIAL: Ronaldo dropped from Man Utd squad

Cristiano Ronaldo has been dropped from the Manchester United squad to face Chelsea, the club have confirmed.

While United defeated Tottenham Hotspur in a dominant performance at Old Trafford on Thursday, most of the headlines went to Ronaldo who did not play a single minute.

The 37-year-old could not hide his frustration and marched down the tunnel before the game had finished.

There were also reports that Ronaldo had left Old Trafford, which he had previously done during a pre-season game a few months ago.

As a result, the club have confirmed he will play no part of Saturday's clash at Stamford Bridge.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday's Premier League game against Chelsea.

The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture.
