Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has praised in-form Orlando Pirates duo Monnapule Saleng and Miguel Timm who highlight the Belgian's latest 23-man squad for the upcoming November friendlies against Angola and Mozambique.
Saleng has been in scintillating form for the Buccaneers with five goals in eight appearances so far this season, including a second-half brace to send Mamelodi Sundowns crashing out of the MTN8.
Before then scoring the decisive goal to defeat AmaZulu in the final.
"What he did over the previous month has been amazing, and he is very strong on the right flank," Broos said.
"He has scored important goals, and we know Saleng well as he featured at the Olympics.
"He had a spell where he didn't feature as prominently but is now back and we've all seen his qualities, he's fast and excellent at eliminating defenders out on the wings while also a threat in front of goal.
"I certainly think I need to give him his well-deserved chance."
Broos also detailed the reasons for his selection of Miguel Timm who was voted as Man of the Match in Pirates' recent MTN8 triumph over the weekend.
"He [Timm] deserves it due to his good performances with his team [Orlando Pirates]," Broos said.
"He deserves his selection over others and makes good matches and is a good leader

Elaborating on Timm's selection, Broos highlighted the Buccaneers midfielder's tactical awareness.
"He's a player who stays in his position," Broos added.
"He knows the [midfield] position, and he's always there when they [Pirates] lose the ball. He maintains his position as he is always there in front of his defence, which is what I like in a defensive midfielder.
"It's up to him now to prove at a higher level that he can do it. It was a fighting game, but also in those types of games, he was there and is good in duels.
