English giants Manchester City are reportedly interested in a Real Madrid star and the club are said to be willing to offer the player a mouth-watering salary of £230 000 (R4.7 million) a week.
Real have several key players who will be out of contract at the end of the current season, including 2022 Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Marco Asensio, and Toni Kroos among others.
Benzema is expected to extend his stay at the club, while the future isn't as certain for the rest of the players whose deals are expiring in June 2023. Kroos is believed to have shown no intention of signing a new deal, as no negotiations are thought to be ongoing between his representatives and the club.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, reigning English Premier champions City are interested in the German and have already made an approach for the experienced midfielder.
The report also claims that Pep Guardiola's side are willing to offer him a contract worth £12.2 million (R251 million) a year, which works out to roughly £230 000 (R4.7 million) a week. It is understood that the playmaker is on €9 million (R162 million) a year in Madrid, thus a switch would see the 32-year-old pocket a sizeable increase.
Although Kroos is thought to be keeping his options open before getting into contract extension discussions with Real, the European champions are said to be keen on holding on him a bit longer.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner first wants to assess both his physical and metal condition before making a decision, but is is also believed his affinity for Guardiola could sway things in the Citizens' favour.
The Los Blancos anchor spent a season with the Spanish coach at Bayern Munich and he also recently admitted that Guardiola was the best coach for his style of play.
