Maboe's holiday break: Luxury apartment and R9k Bottega slides

Mamelodi Sundowns star Lebohang Maboe captured the true essence of luxury as he was spotted in an overly stunning house with a picturesque architectural design while rocking Bottega Veneta slides worth close to R9 000.

The story

Maboe is on holiday mode right now. This week he posted images on Instagram showing off a beautiful unnamed location with a gorgeous contemporary architectural design. The residence has a mainly stone-grey aesthetic with some fine touches of glass exhibited through windows and sliding doors.

In terms of the player himself, he wore a two-piece PUMA Adventure Planet printed men's outfit consisting of shorts and a shirt. The combined matching top and shorts costs R1 550 (Black Friday sale price), according to the brand's official South African online store.

The sandals he wore were quite the eye-catcher not only because of the vibrant parakeet colourway but also because of their expensive price of $520 (R8 989), according to Bottegaveneta.com.

A star reborn?

Following his devastating knee injury that kept him out of action for 248 days, it is good to see the 28-year-old back in regular action. Prior to his setback, the former Maritzburg United star was seemingly establishing himself as a regular in the national team. So far this season, he has made only four appearances in a stacked Masandawana squad.

The attacking midfielder is the son of African All-Stars manager Sidwell Maboe.

Your thoughts, please?

Do you see Maboe reclaiming his spot in the starting lineup, with the likes of Marcelo Allende, Neo Maema, Gaston Sirino, and Haashim Domingo all seeming to be ahead of him?
