Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has once again come under fire, this time being accused of lacking "the dignity to congratulate" Morocco after the African giants dumped the European outfit out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Atlas Lions are considered by many to be one of the standout teams of the tournament following their historic run to the semis.
After becoming the first African team ever to reach that stage of the competition, they were eliminated by reigning champions France on Wednesday night after goals by Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani ensured a 2-0 victory for Didier Deschamps' charges.

Ranked 23rd in the world, according to FIFA, Morocco came up against four teams ranked in the top 15 during their time in Qatar, including sixth-placed Spain in the round of 16 and ninth-placed Portugal in the quarter-finals.
With the north Africans' resilient journey coming to an end on Thursday, they were met with huge applause by fans at the Al Bayt Stadium for their stoic showing at the showpiece, while Les Bleus players were also seen congratulating the team for their performances in the Middle East.
Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamman has since pointed out that, unlike the France stars, Ronaldo failed to congratulate Morocco after they eliminated Portugal from the competition, with the 37-year-old storming down the tunnel in tears instead.
"I think they [Morocco] brought the human side back to this World Cup," the former Germany midfielder told RTE.
"You talk about these superstars, top players, top earners – and if you think that one of the greatest players who left the scene a week ago, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, couldn't even congratulate them at the end of the game...
"They won that game and did something historic, and he didn't even have the dignity to congratulate them for what they've achieved.
"And now you watch them; how they shake hands with the French. The dignity and the graciousness they show in defeat – brilliant."

After bowing out of the competition last Saturday, Ronaldo took to Instagram to express his disappointment.
"Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career," he wrote, per the Daily Mail.
"Fortunately, I won many titles of international dimension, including for Portugal, but putting the name of our country on the highest level in the world was my biggest dream.
"I fought for it. I fought hard for this dream. In the five appearances that I scored in World Cups over 16 years, always alongside great players and supported by millions of Portuguese people, I gave my all.
"I left everything on the field. I never turned my face to the fight and I never gave up on that dream.
"Unfortunately, yesterday the dream ended. It is not worth reacting to heat."
