Time is running out for SuperSport to keep Grobler

KickOff.com can reveal that time is running out for SuperSport United to keep striker Bradley Grobler beyond his current contract with the club.

Grobler's contract with SuperSport is due to expire in June next year. The former Platinum Stars striker is free to sign a pre-contract in the next ten days in the event that Matsatsantsa fail to offer an extension to his initial contract by January 1.

Grobler has confirmed that SuperSport United have not yet engaged him over a new contract.

"Yes, it's true the contract does come to end in June. At the moment we haven't got to anything, to be honest", said Grobler.

"I think it's a little bit early, once January comes around we can start talking and discussing but like I said SuperSport United deserve the first option the way they have treated me. But it's up to the club when they ready to talk and they will start that", he added.

Grobler has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates over the past few years.
