Portugal have reportedly made a final decision on their next head coach after Fernando Santos' resignation last month.
Santos ended his eight-year spell with the Portuguese national side after their defeat to Morocco in the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals.

A Selecao will not have to wait long for a replacement, with the Athletic reporting that Roberto Martinez has verbally agreed to become their next manager.

Martinez will be out to prove his doubters wrong after Belgium's shock group stage exit at the World Cup last month.
The former Everton boss does seemingly have big shoes to fill, as Santos guided Portugal to a European Championship title in 2016 and the inaugural UEFA Nations League crown in 2019.
