Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has issued a plea to the club's supporters to get behind the players after several Pirates players were booed during Saturday's clash against Golden Arrows.
The Buccaneers left it late to seal a controversial 3-1 win over Golden Arrows at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto .
During the game, several Pirates players, including Kermit Erasmus, were booed by the Buccaneers' faithful over failure to find the winning goal.
Striker Terrence Dzvukamanja arguably got the worst of the verbal abuse as he prepared to come on late in the second half.

The striker went on to score a goal that put the side ahead on added time before Vincent Pule put the final nail on the coffin with a third goal and Riveiro has pleaded with the sides' supporters to back the players during home matches.
"The fans or the spectators have the right to express themselves but we need to understand that it's going to much more better if we do it [work] together," The Spanish coach said post-match.
"After the game finishes, we can express ourselves. We can say we are happy or not, but when we're looking for that [winning] goal, we need everyone involved."
"When I started here, I said that it's going to important that the fans are playing the game with us and we play the game together. And in a moment like this, we need 100% of the support, the pushing from the stands and in the end.
"Probably, we making an issue of something minor, I think the fans pushed us until the end. Maybe there are a few people against me, it's okay, but [for] the players its different.
"They [players] need to feel the that we're playing home, the whole time, no matter the results or the situation. Until the end. All together."
The Buccaneers will host Stellenbosch at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Sunday.
