FC Barcelona moved eight points clear at the top of LaLiga with a 3-0 win over Sevilla on Sunday evening.
A long-term injury to Ousmane Dembele headlined the league leaders' team news, as Jordi Alba slotted in for Alejandro Balde as the main change from the win over Real Betis.
The Catalans' plan was thrown into jeopardy after just eight minutes when veteran Sergio Busquets suffered an injury and was replaced by Franck Kessie.
Barcelona worked a decent opening a few moments later where Robert Lewandowski dropped in to the right of the area and unleased a low shot that brought a save out of goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
In light of the Catalans having a lot of the ascendancy in forward spaces, Sevilla came to life inside halftime off a supply by Ivan Rakitic to Youssef En-Nesyri but the Moroccan couldn't pounce.
Two substitutions from the visitors at the interval saw Bryan Gil come in for Oliver Torres before En-Nesyri made way for Erik Lamela.
Barcelona, though, got a clever chance to go in front over ten minutes from the break with a clean header by Raphinha, but Bounou produced another save.
The Blaugrana did made their next move count after Kessie held off a few challenges in the area and cutback for Alba to step in and fired in the far corner.
Sevilla struggled to work out a response and conceded again in the last 20 minutes when Raphinha's clever ball rolled through to Gavi and the young midfielder made no mistake.
It got worse for the visitors ten minutes from time as Raphinha capped off a fine outing after the Brazilian international pounced on Alba's cutback and slotted in from close-range.
Sevilla targeted a consolation goal from a corner in the last three minutes, but failed to beat Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as the Catalans marched to victory and moved eight points clear at the top of the table.
