WATCH: Khanye reveals he's cooking up something!

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye made an exciting announcement involving former stars like Dikgang Mabalane, Thuso Phala, and Benedict Vilakazi, among many others. Here's a look!

The story

Khanye has announced that he and a long list of South African football icons will all be playing at game at Tsakane Stadium in Brakpan on Saturday 18 February. Such matches often have fans seriously excited and generally leave crowds beaming with feelings of nostalgia.

Nothing less will be expected when the likes of Terminator, Phala, and Tso, and former Chiefs players take to the same field to roll back the good old times with a competitive game of football.

In a video post on his Instagram on Tuesday, Khanye made the following announcement:

What is also fresh on the minds of people is that the former attacker recently dropped his first song last weekend, an Amapiano track called Obrigado, alongside artists Chef Mbali, Muzeethembuzi, SyperBeaTz, and SticksBeats.

It is not an unfamiliar site to see a former player get into music, as many current and past footballers, both locally and internationally have dabbled in songs, including the likes of Skapie Malatsie, Jabu Mahlangu, Rafael Leao, Asamoah Gyan, and Memphis Depay to name a few.

Hats off to Fak'Imali Uzobona, as he has continued to broaden his horizons since returning to the limelight. Since then, he has appeared in a couple of film productions, released a biography, became an entertaining pundit, and has scored a few deals along the way!
