Messi & Neymar 'react' to yet another PSG loss

After a confirmed bust-up on the weekend, Lionel Messi and Neymar have reacted to Paris Saint-Germain's latest loss at home on Tuesday night.

Following the French club's defeat to AS Monaco on the weekend, after which there was huge argument in the changing room involving players and club staff, Les Parisiens' found themselves on the losing side yet again as Bayern Munich walked away with a 1-0 win courtesy of a Kingsley Coman strike in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie on Tuesday.

Despite their star-studded attack, PSG could not find the back of the net, with substitute Kylian Mbappe, who was introduced in the 57th minute, having two goals ruled out for offside.

Since the 2022 FIFA World Cup ended, the Ligue 1 giants have lost five matches across all competitions, and risk ending the season with another European failure.

Two superstars who did make the starting line-up were Messi and Neymar, who reacted to the team's latest defeat by going to PSG ultras and fans after the game to ask for forgiveness for their poor showing and thank them for their support.

Similar occurred just days ago, when defender Presnel Kimpembe grabbed a microphone to apologise to the club's fans after their loss to Monaco on Saturday.

With the Ligue 1 leaders now having it all to play for in the second leg against Bayern on 8 March, PSG manager Christophe Galtier has explained why he believes the tie can still be swung in his side's favour.

"We managed to push them over 25-30 minutes," the French manager said, per Sportsmax.

"There is the offside goals, two or three situations.

"There is obviously a disappointment, but we know that there is not a qualified team or a team eliminated tonight.

"We will have to see in three weeks the state of our team, if we will have recovered fitness and have players to play a full match at the level of our last half hour."
