A shock club has now reportedly made contact with Manchester United regarding the potential signing of Mason Greenwood.
The one-capped England international is expected to play no part for the Red Devils for the remainder of this season, with an internal investigation by the club continuing after the charges of attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and controlling and coercive behaviour against the marksman were dropped as a result of key witnesses withdrawing their case in early February.

United are now believed to weighing up three options regarding the player's future: to allow him back into the team, pay out the remainder of his contract, or sell him in the next transfer window.
His teammates at Carrington are believed to be conflicted about his possible return, while the United women's team is reportedly incensed by the idea of Greenwood representing the club again.
With selling the 21-year-old seemingly a viable option, Turkish giants Fenerbahce have now reportedly made contact with the 20-time English champions regarding a potential transfer, according to Futospor.
While Erik ten Hag's side faces pressure from sponsors and British women's rights organisations to take decisive action against the striker, the Istanbul outfit is reported to be willing to face any criticism that purchasing Greenwood would bring in the hope that he could help them once again win the Super Lig title, which they last won in the 2013/14 campaign.
A move to China is also reportedly a possibility for the player should his time in Manchester come to an abrupt end ahead of the conclusion of his current contract, which is scheduled to expire in June 2025.
