KickOff has been informed that controversial Chippa United interim coach Morgan Mammila has been relieved of his first-team duties after a barren run of results with the club languishing in 13th position in the DStv Premiership standings.
Mammila is believed to have been shown the exit shortly after the Chilli Boys suffered a 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Swallows FC at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday.

The defeat left Chippa just three points off of the relegation zone with just one win in their last five league outings.
Former player and interim coach Kurt Lentjies is being earmarked to return as head coach once more on an interim basis for the remainder of the season.
"The club management had a meeting with Morgan last night and decided to relieve him of duties at Chippa United," a well-placed source within the club tells KickOff.
"Kurt Lentjies is set to take over as head coach."
