Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier bizarrely needed to be held back from fighting fans on the weekend.

The fixture between PSG and Marseille is known as Le Classique, and is traditionally French football's biggest matches of the domestic calendar.
Due to the longstanding rivalry between the two clubs, these matches often prove to be heated affairs, and it was no different on the weekend.
At the end of the derby on Sunday, PSG manager Galtier had to be held back from getting into a scuffle with the Marseille fans.

While it is not clear what set the tactician off, this incident comes after the French coach had been under immense pressure with reports suggesting that the PSG hierarchy are considering hiring a replacement in Thomas Tuchel following the club's poor run of form since the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Galtier has been hampered by injuries to each of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at some point during the first two months of 2023, in which the team dropped points to Lens, Rennes, Reims and Monaco in Ligue 1, while they also lost the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie to Bayern Munich.
However, following their comfortable victory on Sunday, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi reiterated his support for the under-pressure manager.
"I am very happy, we played a great match tonight, a great PSG," the chief said, per RMC Sport.
