PSG boss 'investigated' for kidnapping & torture

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is now reportedly being investigated for kidnapping and torture.

A sensational report from L'Equipe states that the PSG chief has been implicated in a scandal involving some heinous crimes.

Three judges have been hired to look at the accusations facing the PSG chairman, which have been made by lobbyist Tayeb Benabderrahmane.

Benabderrahmane is believed to have filed an initial complaint months ago, in which he claimed he had been kdinapped and tortured in Qatar for having documents with sensitive information about Al-Khelaifi.

L'Equipe reports that the accuser filed a charge with civil action against the PSG president, which allows for a judicial investigation for crimes, according to French law, which is now under way.

Benabderrahmane's lawyers Maitres Romain Ruiz and Gabriel Vejnar have insisted they are "very satisfied" with the news after a large effort to bring the case to the attention of the justice system.

It is said the accuser has information that could be found on a phone belonging to Al-Khelaifi that could prove that he played a role in certain wrongdoing regarding the awarding of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to Qatar and the awarding of television rights to beIN Media Group for the 2026 and 2030 tournaments.
