The promotion assignment handed to Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahli is closer to being sealed while he also chases the trophy that comes with finishing as champions in the Saudi first division (Yelo League).
Mosimane was again all smiles on Wednesday as his side overcame Jeddah Club 1-0 courtesy of Gambian forward Modou Barrow's striker on 51 minutes.

With that win Al Ahli joined Al Hazm on 49 points after 23 matches.
Ahli remain second due to an inferior goal difference of plus 18 while Al Hazm sits on plus 24.
While the championship battle and the winners' prizemoney pegged at a minimum of R25 million now appears set to be between Al Ahli and Al Hazm the promotion priority is also close to being secured.
Mosimane's team now sits 11 points into the promotion berths with 11 games remaining after three of the four clubs below them lost this week.
With the top four going up, fifth-placed Al Arabi sit on 38 points.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana coach has now guided his current employers to 12 wins, five draws, and one defeat moving the popular club from seventh position to the comforts of second place.
Al Ahli Saudi FC will be away at relegation threatened Najran in their next match on Tuesday at the Prince Hathloul Bin Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium.
It was against Najran that Mosimane recorded his first win in his second match in charge at the club in October last year.
