TS Galaxy jumped into the top eight with a 4-0 drubbing of Richards Bay FC in DStv Premiership action on Sunday afternoon.
Marks Munyai, Bathusi Aubaas and a return from suspension of Junior Traore picked out Galaxy's changes after the Nedbank Cup last weekend, whilst Richards Bay were without goalkeeper Salim Magoola following his dismissal against Kaizer Chiefs.
Richards Bay launched the first threat earlier on when Somila Ntsundwana leaned towards the shoulder of the area and volleyed in a diagonal pass, but goalkeeper Vasilije Kolak palmed.
However, Galaxy were ahead against the run of play midway through the first half after a curling shot outside the area by Sphiwe Mahlangu bounced off the ground and in the net.
The Rockets made it two in the space of a minute when Orebotse Mongae combined with a low pass on the edge of the area and drilled in the top corner.
Galaxy staged more openings shortly before the break, as Kamogelo Sebelebele beat a few challenges to fire in from outside the six-yard area, but he didn't test goalkeeper Neil Boshoff.
There was a substitution that took place from the visitors at the course of the second half, as Ndiviwe Mdabuka entered for Harold Majadibodu..
Richards Bay's path to a comeback was made difficult nine minutes from the break as Traore brought a low cross from the right under control and found the far post through a composed finish to extend Galaxy's lead.
The Natal Rich Boys presented a rare foray moments later from a pin-point header in the box by Mbuthuma following a cross, but Kolak collected.
As Richards Bay continued to push forward, the host made it four in time added on when Mongae charged in from a counter-attack and found the net to end the contest and hand the visitors a sixth successive defeat.
