Former Arsenal and Manchester City star Emmanuel Adebayor has announced his retirement from professional football.
The Togolese striker enjoyed a fruitful career in Europe, where he played for the Gunners, Man City and LaLiga giants Real Madrid.

Adebayor won the Copa del Rey with Los Blancos in 2011, and was also named CAF African Player of the Year in 2008.
The striker has now decided to hang up his boots at the age of 36, having last featured for Togolese side AC Semassi.
"SEA, from the highs to the lows, my career as a professional athlete has been an incredible journey," Adebayor said on the caption.
"Thank you to my fans for being there every step of the way. I'm feeling so grateful for everything, and excited for what's to come!"The former Togolese striker also turned out for Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and AS Monaco during his time in Europe.
