Cristiano Ronaldo has finally opened up about his controversial exit from Manchester United.
After departing Old Trafford in November 2022, the 38-year-old has maintained his silence on the issue after he even left a press conference at the 2022 FIFA World Cup prematurely after being quizzed on the matter.
At the time, the striker simply said "this chapter is closed" before abruptly leaving the room. Since then, he has gone on to join Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr on a big-money two-year deal.

Despite having stepped away from European club football for the first time in his career, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner was named in new manager Roberto's Martinez' first Portugal squad.
Ronaldo now appears to have put the well-documented issue behind him, as he recently spoke openly about the matter in a press conference ahead of his national team's UEFA European Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein on Thursday.
"Sometimes, you have to go through some things to see who is on my side," the Real Madrid legend said, according to the Manchester Evening News.
"I have no problem saying, I had a bad career run, but there's no time for regrets. Life goes on and, doing well or not, it was part of my growth.
"When we are at the top of the mountain, we often cannot see what is below.
"Now, I'm more prepared and learning that was important, because I had never been through this, like in the last few months. Now I'm a better man."
