Messi's future has remained a hot topic as his contract is expiring at the end of the season.
In March, it was claimed that the Argentine had reached a decision to stay with the Ligue 1 side for one more season ahead of a switch to the Major League Soccer with Inter Miami later on in his career.

However, prior to PSG's latest defeat to Olympique Lyon on Sunday, the Ligue 1 leaders supporters' booed Messi's name after he was picked in the starting XI.
According to L'Equipe, the South American has had a change of heart as he now does not see a future at the Parc des Princes.
The report adds that the situation between the club and Messi has reached a conclusion.
Talk of a "divorce" come just days after Barcelona club vice president Rafa Yuste revealed that the LaLiga giants are working to bring Messi back to the Camp Nou.

It is said that PSG have the option to extend the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner's deal by a further 12 months, but that it needs to be agreed to by the player himself.
Messi has been in fine form during the 2022/23 season, with 18 goals and 17 assists in 33 appearances.
