Technical director Stan Tshabalala has provided more insight on highly-regarded Orlando Pirates star Boitumelo Radiopane who is impressing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
After a sensational season in the DStv Diski Challenge that saw the 20-year-old awarded both the Player of the Season and Leading Goal Scorer award, Radiopane was loaned out to Cape Town Spurs for the 2022/23 campaign.
Despite initial struggles with injury, Under Shaun Bartlett's Spurs, Radiopane has emerged as one of the deadliest strikers in the Championship, scoring five times to help the Urban Warriors' bid for promotion.
"Radiopane is a talent, Radiopane will score goals but Radiopane needs to be nurtured," Tshabalala told ExtraTime.
"You need coaches that will help the youngster because he has talent, he can score goals but there are one or two things that he doesn't have.
"You see a young player is nice, he wants to play nicely but depending where he is playing. He [Radiopane] is playing as a striker now, he can never be nice as a striker.
"No, you have got to have a little bit of devil in you as a striker. You must force your way in there and be ruthless, finish.

"The coach [Bartlett] must help him out [teach him] how to finish in that 18 [yard] area. Whether the ball comes to head, or to his body [he must] hold and finish. At times, don't rush, hold and finish and pick a spot."
"On other occasions, hold and finish even without picking a spot but depending on this talent is; is it a striker, is it a midfielder, is it a defender? They [youngsters] need coaches."
Radiopane is expected to return to the Pirates when the season comes to an end.
