The SA Under-23 star has been in scintillating form this season inspiring Matsatsantsa to a potential CAF Champions League spot so far this season.
Hunt admitted that he was concerned about one of his star players being snapped up from a European side.
"Yes [I am worried about him leaving].
"Yes, he needs another season with us, he's still very raw, and still needs another season with us," Hunt said.
Similarly, Hunt is rooting for striker, Bradley Grobler to extend his stay at SuperSport United next season.
Grobler's contract with Matsatsantsa is due to expire in June this season.
"He gives us experience," Hunt added.
"We need to manage him, and give him days off and manage him well. I will give him days off and things like that, to manage how he trains.
"He is good finisher."
