Chelsea urged to sign 'world-class' Kane

Chelsea have been urged to sign Harry Kane from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to solve their striker problem.

The Blues have not been able to find a world class striker to lead the line since Diego Costa's departure, with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain, Romelu Lukaku and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failing to make their mark in recent years.

Kane could reportedly leave Spurs at the end of the season with the North London club set to end the campaign without silverware.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender William Gallas feels England's all-time leading scorer could be perfect for the Blues next season.

"What Chelsea need is a striker, a world-class one. I'm sure on the market there will be options. Harry Kane is one," Gallas told Genting Casino.

"I know it will be hard because unfortunately Chelsea won't be in the Champions League, but he will have a better chance of winning the Premier League.

"If they are looking for a striker, Kane is perfect but I don't think Daniel Levy will sell to Chelsea. He would put the price very high."

Kane enjoyed another productive season with the North London outfit, having bagged 23 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.
