Sbu Vilakazi's warning over Chiefs clash

Sekhukhune United attacker Sibususo Vilakazi has warned his side against complacency when they meet an in-form Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

Babina Noko go into the fixture beaming with confidence having knocked out Chippa United to seal a spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank, however, Amakhosi will just be as bullish of their chances having beaten Royal AM to also secure a spot in the semi-finals for the cup competition.

Truter's chargers have also already beaten Amakhosi once this season when the two teams met in January. While Vilakazi believes the win should bring them confidence, he also insisted that his side would have to be consistent avoid slipping down the table.

"It could be tricky but at the same time we still have a chance within the game itself, just to take the momentum of how the guys have been playing up until this far after winning back-to-back games.

"So surely, the confidence should be up, surely the game it should be appealing and surely we should be looking to get a fair output out of the game.

"We are looking forward to it [Chiefs game], today we are coming and we'll see how the preparations go but of course we want to continue winning games, more than anything and don't look any further than that in terms of where we want to end. Just take it one game at a time.

"The momentum of the team needs to be whereby we understand that we need to win any game that we play regardless of any team because the situation [position on the log table] on it's own requires consistency in these remaining games of the season.

"It should be an interesting game on Sunday."

The match will be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
