Bayern to replace Mane with another African superstar?

With reports suggesting Sadio Mane will be sold by Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga giants are reportedly planning to replace the Senegal international with another African superstar.

Following Mane's now-infamous punch-up with Leroy Sane two weeks ago, it has been claimed the German club are looking to sell the former Liverpool star in the next transfer window.

It is believed some of the Bundesliga side's players have already begun distancing themselves from the Senegalese, and his future remains uncertain.

While Mane is reportedly keen to stay with the Bavarians despite the recent criticism aimed his way, it has been claimed the winger is not manager Thomas Tuchel plans for the next campaign as he does not suit his tactical approach.

According to Calciodangolo.com, Bayern are now ready to make a bid of €120 million (R2.4 billion) for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the next campaign.

It is said the Bundesliga giants see the Nigeria attacker as a better replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left for FC Barcelona at the beginning of this season, than Mane has been.

Bayern will face stiff competition for Osimhen's signature, though, with a number of top European clubs understood to be keen to sign the Super Eagles striker, including Manchester United.
