Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly suspended Lionel Messi for his recent trip to Saudi Arabia.
Reports surfaced on Tuesday that the Argentine skipped training and flew to Saudi Arabia without permission from manager Christophe Galtier.

It is believed the trip to Saudi Arabia was for his role as a tourism ambassador the Saudi tourist office.
Fabrizio Romano has now reported that the World Cup winner has been suspended by the clubs for two weeks with immediate effect.

The suspension will take place now after Messi's trip to Saudi NOT authorized by the club as per @RMCSport.

French publication L'Equipe reported that the club announced the players would have training on Monday followed by a day off on Tuesday following the 3-1 defeat to Lorient on Sunday evening.
However, Messi was not present with the squad on Monday and the report from L'Equipe added that the trip was planned and could not be reschedule, having already had two postponements after the club's UEFA Champions League exit.
