A certain Real Madrid star could now be set for a move to England after reportedly receiving a handsome salary offer from a shock Premier League club.
Real currently have eight players in the first team whose contracts are set to expire at the end of June, including Luka Modric, Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos.

With the aforementioned trio being well-established members of the squad and likely to be offered renewed contracts, regular substitutes such as Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio are also out of contract but their fates at the club are reportedly less certain.
Reports suggest there is no lack of interest in both Spaniards, though, with the latter now linked with an unexpected switch to the Premier League.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Asensio has received an offer worth €8 million (R166 million) a season to join Aston Villa.
It is claimed the proposed move is driven by incoming football director Mateu Alemany, who recently announced he will be leaving his role at FC Barcelona at the end of the season.
Asensio was reportedly tracked by Barca in the January transfer window with the hope of agreeing a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer in 2023/24, but the deal never materialised.
Los Blancos are said to have presented the Spain international with a new deal in the past few months, but the proposal was deemed too low by the 27-year-old's agent Jorge Mendes.
It is understood no progress has been made since, while Asensio also offered very little when asked where his future lies recently.
Quizzed about what's next for him in his career after Real's Copa del Rey triumph last week, he answered: "I don't know."
Villa boss Unai Emery and club co-owner Nassef Sawiris are also said to have solid relationships with Mendes, which could help smooth over talks for the parties involved.

The former Espanyol star currently finds himself behind Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in the pecking order in the wide attacking positions at the Santiago Bernabeu, with manager Carlo Ancelotti having also utilised Federico Valverde on Asensio's preferred right flank at times.
