FC Barcelona secured their 27th LaLiga title with a 4-2 victory over cross-town rivals Espanyol on Sunday night.
Having recently announced his departure at the end of the season, Sergio Busquets captained Barcelona with Robert Lewandowski leading the attack alongside Raphinha and Gavi.
Lewandowski proved instrumental again as he bagged the opener just after ten minutes with a smart finish following a delivery by Alejandro Balde.
Bale then enjoyed a switch of roles minutes later where Pedri arrowed a ball in from the byline and saw the former arrive to slice home.
Espanyol looked out of shape on all fronts and the Catalans encountered another opening after Lewandowski slipped in-behind to draw Fernando Pacheco to a save.
The champions-elect didn't let up and grabbed a third goal five minutes before halftime when Raphinha dropped wide and crossed for Lewandowski to rifle home.
After the break, the host looked to the dugout to introduce Fernando Calero in favour of former Barcelona man Denis Suarez and had Javi Puado on for Sergi Gomez.
Those arrivals didn't faze Barca who helped themselves to a fourth goal eight minutes in where Jules Kounde latched on Frenkie De Jong's high ball and nodded in.
Espanyol managed to have an opening in the middle of the second half after a through pass released Puado in-behind and level with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, but the German held firm.
Puado did find target 15 minutes before conclusion when another ball in allowed him to go clear and profit, with the effort ruled out but awarded through the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
Espanyol got a second goal in added time when Joselu reacted quickly to a rebound off the post and tucked in, but Barca were well ahead by that stage as they held on to claim the league title with four matches to spare.
