Former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Hans Vonk has spoken highly of Khama Billiat, who he played with back in 2011 at Ajax Cape Town.
With Billiat being a hot topic at the moment as his future at Kaizer Chiefs is still unclear, Vonk reminisced on Billiat's early days in SA football and feels that the Zimbabwean is still the type of player you would want in your team.
Although he recognised Billiat's great career with Ajax Cape Town, Sundowns and Chiefs, Vonk says its a pity the forward didn't test his game in Europe.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Khama: A special weapon that you prefer as a teammate not as an opponent" story:
"He wasted his once wonderful career by joining the fallen angels of Soweto, what a player," says Eduardo Dos Santos.
"Khama made a very big mistake by leaving Downs for Chiefs," says Nhlax.
"Great player this guy... It's just that Chiefs is out of sorts," Arthur is an Ankole.
"Great talent, I would opt for his stay [at Chiefs], it's a pity he came after all the best players at Chiefs had already left. Yhoo, what a player," says mthunzijack7.

After parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns, Andile Jali has reportedly turned down an offer from Wydad Casablanca in favour of staying in the DStv Premiership.
The 33-year-old is subject to intense transfer speculation after leaving Masandawana following a successful five-year spell at the club, where he won five consecutive league titles.
Jali has been linked with Cape Town City, Kaizer Chiefs and his former club Orlando Pirates with a team in Turkey also said to be interested in the Bafana international.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Jali turns down Wydad offer in favour of DStv Prem stay" story:
"South African football has always been about recycling of personal - both players and coaches," says Shikabala.
"He had to think about his thirst. Good decision," says siyaz.
"One of the best midfielders in the PSL era. I think Rulani will regret letting Andile go... In my opinion, we needed him against Wydad Casablanca, we could've won that game easily with Mhlekazi in the middle of the park," says Nhlax.
"Go back to the University of Pretoria and finish your career in peace," says Slow_Poison.
"Like Kermit Erasmus, I think a return to Pirates is a good idea, plus they will play him to his strengths," says Charles Manyike.
"Jali come home, we're gonna release Motshwari. Just imagine Jali with Mosele, Makhaula, Timm, plus Monare, we will be done in that position.
"We need a little bit of arrogance in that midfield," says tm194441.
"I will put my weight behind him going back to Pirates to appease the Iron Duke. His choice of Downs over Bucs when he came back from abroad ruffled a lot of feathers.
"This is a chance for both parties to kiss and make up. Mosele and Makhaula haven't seen much game time. They will be further pushed down the perking order with the imminent arrival of Jali. Mr Jali, do yourself a favour and return to the ghost as a cover in the event of rainy days," says gsithole.
