A Portugal national team star has broken his silence regarding reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
United have been linked with several players ahead of the upcoming transfer window, with a striker and a midfielder believed to be key positions the club wants to fill.

The signing a new goalkeeper is reportedly on the cards too, with current No. 1 David de Gea said to have been deemed replaceable following some notable errors during the recently concluded 2022/23 season.
The Spaniard is also out of contract at the end of the month, and while reports suggest that the Red Devils have offered him a new deal that includes a reduced salary, there is also speculation he has been offered a contract to move to Saudi Arabia.
With it being unclear whether or not the 32-year-old will put pen to paper on a new deal at the Theatre of Dreams, United are said to be looking at potential replacements in the interim, with Brentford's David Raya and FC Porto's Diogo Costa thought to be among the leading candidates.
The latter, who has established himself as Portugal's No. 1 over the past couple of years, has now seemingly revealed his feelings towards a transfer to Old Trafford.
"That's the internet," he said of the Red Devils rumours following Porto's recent Taca de Portugal title win, according to 90min.
"I love Porto, it's the club of my life. I would give my life for it. My life is resolved with Porto. It is a happiness and an honour to play for my favourite club.
"What they say is what they say, there is nothing concrete, I have a contract until 2027 and I hope to continue, let's see."

While the 23-year-old has appeared to pour cold water on the reports, Erik ten Hag's side are said to be willing to pay his £65 million (R1.5 billion) release clause, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola.
