Khan: Sundowns duo might not fit at Chiefs

Former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Farouk Khan says there are no guarantees that Bradley Ralani or Andile Jali will shine at Naturena if they join the Soweto giants.

The duo was recently released by league champions Mamelodi Sundowns and are free to join any team of their choice.

A number of teams have shown interest with both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates interested in Jali.

"Sundowns are looking to refresh the team," Khan tells KickOff.

"Bradley was with me for many years, the first time he went to Sweden I sent him there.

"He is a very good player, but I think obviously he is getting a bit old now. Sundowns are maybe looking to introduce some younger players.

"They obviously have a long-term plan, Sundowns. That's the reason maybe Bradley is being off-loaded.

"Andile Jali we've heard from many media coverage that there were some disciplinary actions.

"Both are good players, but Sundowns are looking to refresh their team.

"So, it depends on what Kaizer Chiefs are looking for, in the past, they have signed a lot of players and at the end of the season, they off-load.

"So, it depends on if Chiefs see value in them and feel they can fit in their philosophy and style."
