Mbappe's replacement at PSG already revealed?

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly already decided who they will sign to replace Kylian Mbappe if he leaves in this window.

The 24-year-old could be sold in the near future after he informed the French club that he has no intention of staying at the Parc des Princes beyond June 2024.

The executives and owners of the team are said to be massively disappointed in the player, although he claims PSG were made aware of his decision last year soon after he signed a two-year extension that included an option of a further year.

The Parisian giants are reported to have since put a lofty price tag on the attacker, with the Ligue 1 champions said to want to sell the forward in the upcoming transfer window rather than lose him for free at the end of next season.

It has also been claimed they are unwilling to sell him to Real Madrid, whom they have a fractured relationship with, while a move to the Premier League has been mooted in the press.

With Mbappe's possible departure set to leave a huge void in the team, PSG have now earmarked Olympique Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki has his potential replacement, according to Fichajes.

The 19-year-old is one of the most sought-after talents in France, with Les Parisien manager Christophe Galtier said to be a huge admirer.

There is interest in the teenager's talents not only his native country, but from Italian giants Juventus too.

Despite only being 19, Cherki has already made 102 appearances for Lyon, contributing with 14 goals and 16 assists.
