'Clubs are putting nonsense into players' heads' - Fiery Kadodia warns clubs against poaching Maritzburg stars

Fiery chairperson Farook Kadodia admitted their technical team "failed" while firing a warning against rival clubs attempting to poach Maritzburg United's stars after suffering relegation.

Kadodia insisted that teams reportedly linked to in-demand duo Rowan Human and Karim Kimvuidi would have to cough up a considerable transfer fee.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are reported to be interest in Kimvuidi and Human who have caught the eye after impressing in a struggling team this season.

Kadodia also released a damning statement accusing certain players of sabotage while criticising Davids' negative tactics."The technical team is gone yes, they failed to do the job, so they can't stay," Kadodia tells KickOff.

"There are many things you must take into consideration before bringing in a new coach, though.

"You must think about where the money is going to come from now that we are in the first division [Motsepe Foundation Championship].

"As for Kimvuidi and Human, I'm not selling any players, sorry, they are not for sale, not right now.

"Now that we're relegated, people mustn't think they are just going to come here and take Kimvuidi and Human. I'm so sorry.

"They must table an offer, and then we will talk about it.

"Clubs have been putting nonsense into the players' heads for the last five, six, seven games.

"They were thinking, if we get relegated, they will get them on the cheap.

"You can't send a wrong message, first of all, they are contracted players. Kimvuidi and Rowan Human are contracted to the club.

"They've still got another three years, if anybody wants them, I have to see what the market is. Kimvuidi is worth a lot of money. I can't just give him away for cheap.

"There are quite a few offers, but the thing is, I'm keeping everything close to my chest at the moment.

"Clubs can't get through the back door and think they can talk to my players, sorry."
